What should I expect for my first class?

Expect a welcoming, supportive environment where you can move at your own pace. Our classes are designed for a variety of experience levels, and our instructors are happy to help you modify as needed.

Do I need yoga or fitness experience?

Not at all. Many of our clients are brand new to movement, strength training, or yoga. We encourage you to explore different class styles and find what feels best for your body.

What should I bring?

Bring water, comfortable clothes you can move in, and a yoga mat if you have one for all classes upstairs. Mats are available to rent for $5 if needed.

What’s the difference between heated and unheated classes?

Heated classes are designed to help warm the muscles and create a more intense sweat experience. Unheated classes offer a slower, more grounded environment without added heat. Both have benefits—it simply depends on what your body needs.

How do memberships work?

We offer a variety of membership and package options depending on the type of classes and services you’re interested in. Some memberships include movement classes only, while others include access to both movement and strength-based offerings.

How do I sign up for classes?

Classes can be booked directly through our app or website.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 2-hour cancellation policy for all group movement classes. Late cancellations or no-shows result in a $10 fee. If you have a class package, you will forfeit that class, as our instructors are compensated based on attendance and class sizes are limited.

Can I put my membership on hold?

No. Unfortunately, memberships cannot be placed on hold.

Why do you offer both strength and movement classes?

We believe wellness works best when different forms of movement support one another. Strength helps build stability and resilience, while mobility and recovery help you move well and feel better long-term. Our goal is to help clients create a balanced, sustainable approach to wellness.

Why are some classes upstairs and others downstairs?

Different spaces allow us to offer different experiences. Upstairs classes focus more on movement, mobility, yoga, and lighter strength work, while downstairs classes involve more equipment and individualized coaching for strength and conditioning.

Why is recovery important?

Recovery is an essential part of wellness. Services like sauna, massage, mobility work, and restorative movement can help reduce tension, improve circulation, support performance, and help your body recover from stress and training.

Do I need to work out to use recovery services?

Nope. Recovery is beneficial for everyone, not just people actively training.

I’m intimidated. Is Ripple beginner-friendly?

Absolutely. Ripple was created to be welcoming and inclusive for all experience levels. Whether you’re stepping into a studio for the first time or have years of experience, you belong here.

What makes Ripple different?

Ripple combines movement, strength, recovery, and community under one roof. We focus on long-term wellness and helping people feel supported, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.

Is there parking?

Yes. There is parking available across the street in the lot labeled Hot Yoga/Fitness, along with limited parking on the same side of the street as the studio. We also have one handicap parking spot available.

Do you have showers?

We do. Ripple has 4 private bathrooms/showers stocked with toiletries and towels for your convenience.

Can I use the sauna without a membership?

Certainly. Sauna sessions can be booked without a membership.

Do you host workshops and events?

Yes. We regularly host workshops, special events, and community experiences.

When events are scheduled, emails will be sent out, flyers will be posted around the space, and announcements will be shared on social media.

Most workshops and events do have a separate registration fee.

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership cancellations must be submitted via written email with a 30-day notice. Any remaining balance during that notice period will be prorated based on your billing cycle.

What if I’m late to class?

For the safety of our staff and instructors, doors lock promptly when class begins.

Late entry is not permitted for upstairs movement classes, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

What’s the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional sauna?

Traditional saunas heat the air around you, while infrared saunas use infrared light to heat the body more directly.

Many people find infrared saunas more comfortable because they operate at a lower temperature while still promoting a deep sweat, relaxation, circulation, and recovery benefits.
