What are people saying?

  • From the moment I met Michelle, I was met with warmth and professionalism. She immediately put me at ease with her friendly demeanor and thorough understanding of the shoulder rehabilitation process. She crafted a personalized treatment plan that addressed my specific needs and continually adapted it based on my progress. She not only guided me through a series of targeted exercises, but also took the time to educate me and help me understand the importance of each movement. What ultimately sets Michelle apart is her genuine commitment to her patient’s well-being. She not only focused on the physical aspect of my recovery but also took into account my emotional and mental state. She provided constant encouragement, answered all my questions, and celebrated every small victory with me. I would recommend Michelle to anyone who hopes to receive the highest level of care on their road to recovery.

  • I was injured during the first game for the USA in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Upon returning to the states, I had surgery to repair my fractured fibula and multiple ligaments in my ankle. As I live in Milwaukee, our team doctor reached out to other physicians in the area to see who would be best suited to work with me and Eileen was unequivocally recommended. Since working together over the past few months, Eileen has been pivotal in my recovery. She understands the high demands of my sport and knows when to push me but also when to rein me in. She has challenged me immensely along the way but also knows how to make a session fun and full of laughter. I look forward to continuing my journey of getting back on the ice through her knowledge and guidance.

  • Michelle Compty was my PT Professional for a pretty serious ankle injury from a water skiing accident. I worked with Michelle for almost a year, before and after my surgery. I have nothing but excellent things to say about my treatments and sessions with Michelle. At my 50+ age I didn’t think I would ski again but with Michelle’s amazing expertise, care, and support I am back skiing, hiking, and doing the things I love. Michelle is truly a master at her profession and an expert at biomechanics, body interconnections, and applying appropriate therapy that will get you back in action. She incorporates all the aspects of treatment and care from soft tissue work, dry needling, stretching, strengthening, agility and balance (the agility and balance exercises were truly amazing). She will challenge you in a creative way, and you will enjoy the therapy sessions while making excellent progress along the way. If you have aches, pains, or you just want to get back to doing the things you used to do, Michelle will figure out a way to make you better in a great way. She is an accomplished athlete (Marquette Soccer, Triathlete, etc.) and knows about the demands on the body for sports, injuries, and recovery. She is overall, an incredibly nice person with a cordial and witty personality, but also a dedicated physical therapist with your best interests in mind. Lastly, Michelle establishes a great relationship with her clients whether you are an elite high school athlete or an aging weekend warrior like me (I have witnessed her camaraderie with all types of patients). Her personality makes sessions enjoyable, challenging and rewarding and I guarantee you will look forward to your sessions with her!

  • I don’t even know where to start about Eileen! As an athlete, getting injured is just as much of a mental game as it is physical. She was exactly what I needed when I tore my ACL. Eileen was not only incredibly wise and experienced with all things knee and rehab related, she also cared about me as a person and encouraged me and pushed me to get better like she knew I could. She also would explain to me the reasoning behind each exercise we did and set me up with a comprehensive program to do on my own on the days I wasn’t seeing her. She believed in me even when I didn’t always believe in myself. On the good days when I reached a big milestone and on the bad days when I was not as far along as I thought, she was always there to support me and keep me moving forward. I even considered becoming a PT because of her! Eileen is truly the best.

  • After I sustained a few traumatic injuries, I was fortunate to locate Michelle Compty as my physical therapist. Michelle was thorough in evaluation and professional in creating a recovery program designed for me. Each session was unique to my ability, creative in execution and delivered improvements to my body. Whether you need gentle tissue work, advanced range of motion, or exercises for recovery or strength improvement, Michelle will do the homework for you. I cannot endorse Michelle enough.

  • Throughout multiple surgeries and injuries I have had several physical therapists. I have even managed a physical therapy clinic. Eileen Compty stands above all in my experience, personally and professionally. With a complicated case, learning to walk again with a reconstructed leg, Eileen was creative, dedicated, and successful at rehabbing me to the point of participating in endurance cycling and a life of activity. Eileen is an active listener; evaluating patients independently for a specific and a carefully crafted rehabilitation plan. I feel full confidence in Eileen's care, and have requested her exclusively for all of my rehabilitation over the years. I have challenged Eileen with complicated issues which she has met with expertise and first-class experience. It is my pleasure and an honor to refer future patients to Eileen, knowing they will achieve success and health with her guidance and incredible patient track record of success.
